Stardate:2406.05.18 (USS Nimitz - Captain's Ready Room - CO - Captain Devan Sash- 1530) Sash was standing by the window looking out. He was already missing Kestra, and feeling guilty about that. They hadn't really had enough time to form a real bond, but he wasn't sure if he wanted to. He was also conflicted with his feelings for nessa. The words of Riven mias still resonated in his mind. ~'She doesn't mean as much to you as she thinks that she does?' How much does she actually mean to me. Was he reading more from me than i thought he was?~ The dooor chime rang, shaking Sash from his reverie. He turned and called out, "Come." The door opened and Nishi Nakamura walked in. The man stood in the middle of the floor, looking very uncomfortable. Sash put his own inner conflict in the back of his mind and smiled. "Come in Lt. commander, come in." He indicated to the chair in front of his desk, and proceeded to sit on the edge of the desk. Nishi sat, fidgeting a little in his seat. "What's on your mind Nishi?" The security chief had paused for a long moment before speaking. "Captain, this is very hard for me, but I need ot know what your plans are for the Nimitz, regarding Admiral LoDona's position with Starfleet." Sash leaned back on his desk and nodded. he should have expected this question from more people than just his security chief. "I believe," Sahs began, "that I am aware of the crews feelings towards Admiral Doenitz. I hold a certain afinity with Admiral LoDona. It is my intention to take the Nimitz into the Beta quadrant with the 52nd fleet." Nakamura frowned and nodded. "That is what I figured. Then it is with great reluctance that I hearby resign my commission in Starfleet, effective immediately" he placed a PADD on the captain's desk and patted it tentatively. Sash was astounded. This was NOT what he had expected. "Excuse me?!" Nishi explained a little more thoroughly. "You see captain, if we ... by all intent purposes, seceed from the UFP, then our self imposed exile into the Beta Quadrant will most likely be permanent. That means we'll be leaving family and loved ones behind, forever. Now, for me that may not seem such a bad idea, but for Eloise, I just can't ask her to do that. i won't ask her to do that. And where she, and my son go, so go I." Nishi stopped and looked up at his CO. Sash nodded and smiled. He stood up . He considered trying to talk the man out of his decision, but he didn't want to bring anyone who was torn about leaving people behind. It was easy for him, there was nobody to leave. Finally he put out his hand. "I completely understand. You go and be with your family. Life is too short to miss anything. But I could simply transfer you to another part of Starfleet." "I thought about that," Nishi replied, "but I also do not approve of what's happening in Starfleet. And I would prefer not to work for Admiral Doenitz. So if it's all the same, I would rather resign and find work in the private sector. If you could drop me and my family off at Geneva, from there we'll find our way back to Earth." "I'm sure that can be arranged, Mr. Nakamura," Sash said reassuringly. Nishi stood up and took the captain's hand. "Thank you, sir. It's been an honor serving with you." "And with you," Sash replied. At that Nakamura pulled off his com badge and plaxced beside the PADD. Once again he tapped the PAADD sadly. At that he walked out the door. Sash put his hands in his face and rubbed. "Damn." Onyx smiled back and return her attention to her padd where the report could be read.   After a few minutes, she gave the padd to the Captain and turn her attention to everyone. She wonder what would happen, so many things did and now they were all together. Finally, the meeting happen. Came the presentation of the new crewmembers, and also the promotion. She applauded to each of them but then came the surprise, her name. "Ensign Onyx Kateb, please come forward.”  Onyx was very surprise, she was remembering that she did push a few buttons in the last adventure. "Ensign Kateb, in light of your recent efforts, especially in trying to keep your captain on the right path, I hereby promote you to the rank of Ensign Senior Grade, with all of the rights and responsibilities of that rank. Congratulations Ensign."  Sash replace her pip and shook her hand. “I thank you Sir... I will keep going in that direction without fail.”   ~Why is this phrase he just said tells me that he will put himself into more trouble?~ Onyx look at him straight in his eyes has she shook his hand. ~Oh yes... he is the type to put himself into trouble alright.~ (Reply from anyone) (Posted by Laurence) Stardate:2406.05.18 (USS Nimitz - Conference room, CEO, Lt(sg) Zzt, 1604) "You forgot those earlier, Fuzzy," Falthgood said, poking Zzt and holding up to him a large pair of sunglasses just like the ones Falthgood himself wore. Zzt was shocked and awed at the unexpected gift. He took the glasses with much excitement, putting them on his snout in front of his eyes and adjusting them with one paw to get them just right. Zzt clapped his paws together happily, before wrapping a large arm around Falthgood and giving him two large licks of appreciation. "Zzt thanks you for gift," Zzt said to Falthgood, before looking around the room smiling widely. His large fangs gleaming in the rooms light. In his over exuberance, Zzt completely missed the exchange between the Captain and Falthgood. Instead he waved merrily at everyone at the table, starting with Commander Winters and moving around the table. Again, Zzt clapped his paws together happily, adjusting his glasses, trying to get them set just like Falthgoods. "...If there is a problem with his being here, then I would expect to hear about it directly, rather than 'through the grape vine.' Am I clear." Zzt heard the Captain saying. Zzt titled his head sideways in confusion. He leaned down close to Falthgood. "Grape vines can talk?" Zzt whispered, not as quietly as he had hoped, into Zach's ear. "What languages they speak?" (Reply Falthgood) The meeting moved along, Captain Sash introducing the new crew members. "Several of you have also had the opportunity to met our new ACMO, Dr BigWill Kincaid." Zzt turned his gaze on the nearly fur less human and sniffed the air to take in the ACMO's scent. Again he tilted his head and leaned down toward Falthgood. "Him not look so big to Zzt," Zzt whispered, again a little too loud. "Kinda scrawny, actually. Needs eat more meat." (Reply Falthgood, Any if they want) "... and Lt. Zzt is our CEO." "THAT ME!!" Zzt exclaimed happily, clapping his paws together again before waving at everyone again from behind his large shades. He bounced up and down on his haunches, sitting on the floor as he always did. (Reply Sash, any ITW) Zzt watched as the Captain moved on to promotions, starting with Tannasg. Zzt's eyes narrowed and he crouched down, like he was getting ready to pounce. His eyes darted behind his shades from Tannasg to Falthgood and back again. "Him Romulan," Zzt whispered matter-of-factly to Falthgood, like he was revealing a big secret. Zzt exclaimed happily, clapping his paws together again before waving at everyone again from behind his large shades. He bounced up and down on his haunches, sitting on the floor as he always did. Sash smiled at the reaction of the CEO and then looked up to notice that he too, was wearing sunglasses. It was a difficult transition for him to go from such a place of humor to one of annoyance so quickly. Just another thing to take care of after the meeting, He was greatful, at least, that the Gerratlian didn't require a chair. He would have broken it in his exhuberance. "Thank you Lt," he said. "Would you stay after the meeting for a moment so that you and I can have a quick word?" (reply Zzt) (posted by Al Muir) Stardate:2406.05.18 (USS Nimitz - Conference room - CO- Captain Devan Sash - 1615) "With that done lets have any updates and reports from department heads." Falthgood was the first to jump in with his report. He frowned a little as he noticed that man had put his sunglasses back down over his face. He figured he would have to take care of that after the meeting. He did not relish the idea of taking car of behavioral issues in front of the everyone. "Science is quiet. Some of the sensor grids could use an overhaul, we've abused this ship a lot in the last year, eventually the jury-rigging we've done will fall apart... Rubber bands only last so long, after all." His shades slipped fractionally as he turned his head to look at the CO. He made a point of looking over the shades so the Captain could see his eyes, "Much as I happen to like combat, it beats up on our systems. If you want to continue counting asteroids and gaseous anomalies well into next year, Captain Courageous, we will need a few day overhaul within six months." Sash's eyes narrowed and he took a deep breath. he wasn't even sure if he had heard what he thought he had heard, but seeing the reactions around him, he was pretty certain that he had. "We have a lot to discuss, Mr. Falthgood," was all he said. (other reports) Sash ndded at the repors as they came in. He noticed that the MCO was fidgeting a little. He looked quite uncomfortable, but Sash could understand that, as a man of actionhe probably hated being at staff meetings. "We could use a few replacements in the marines," Lee stated, "both for losses taken previously and for people we had let go just before... The break with Starfleet. We are at three-quarters strength." The Marine shrugged, "But what we have is well trained, highly motivated and ready to kick some more a$$ if need-be." Sash smiled at the comment. It seemed that all eyes turned to Vanyssa. She was the only department head still to report in. "I don't have a report, but I do have a question. What happened to Mr. Stolev and Mr. Nakamura?" Sash took a deep breath before touching that one. He had hoped to put that announcement off, but it looks like he couldn't now. "I had a conversation with Mr. Nakamura before this meeting. he has decided, for his own reasons, to resign from Starfleet. He had his family will be departing the ship at our next stop and heading for Earth. As for Mr. Stolev, he is attending to our ... guests, and will be staying with them ath their new place of residence, here on Betazed. They will be staying with Dr. Mias and his staff at the Clinic of Alura. I felt more comfortable leaving Stolev in charge of them than leaving it to the Betazed officials." (reply any, if you want) "Which takes us to our final item," Sash continued. "Our next stop is Starbase Geneva. There we will get the sensor overhaul that we so desperately need." Sash looked over at Falthgood. "hopefully we will be able to pick up a few more marines, but under the current situation, I'm not certain about that. From there, i am not certain. i have a meeting with Admiral LoDona, whose ship is there at the moment. I'm sure after that we will have a better idea of our future." "I do know that the futue does have us moving to the Beta Quadrant, so I want you all to make sure that your departments are clear on the situation and that we have noone that is ambivilent towards our position. The future is wrought with uncertainty at this time. Howeveer, we can all see the writing on the wall. War is inevitable, and civil war is the worst kind. I had hoped to never see another in my lifetime, but it looks as if that is one wish I will not get." "If we do what we know best," Sash said, "and keep up the work we have been doing, then I am certain that we will survive the experience. You people are the best that I have served with, and I plan for all of us to be here, together, for a long time. Sorry for the speach. I don't usually do that. Thank you all. Dismissed." As everyone turned to leave Sash caught hold of Nessa's arm to hold her in place. He turned to Falthgood and Lee. "Gentlemen, a word if you please." He looked at Dr. Mias. The pressure was something a maturing Starfleet officer would deal with in strides, but in time Kinkaid had to overcome this to better himself for future opportunities. As Kinkaid was pondering a new procedure on a faster, more efficient way for his medical team to respond to emergencies on and off the ship, the captain concluded by saying, “With that done lets have any updates and reports from the department heads.” Lt. Falthgood immediately jumped in with his report. The captain read the PADD report and listened to the over zealous scientist, but did not seem to be impressed. Kinkaid did not want to burden Sash went all his tedious reports and requests, but he had to do. It was his duty. Kinkaid responded next. “Captain, sir…” Kinkaid stood up and went over to Sash’s location to hand him his report along with the requests for the medical section. Sash glanced at Kinkaid’s report. (Reply CO, Sash) Kinkaid added by saying, “Would it be possible to implement a new procedure for the medical team to react to emergencies in a faster more efficient manner by using small transporter unit, which are about the size of a comm badge that is place on the individual’s right shoulder of the uniform.” (Reply CO, FO, Sash, Winters) Kinkaid had this idea on his mind for some time ever since the sickbay free for all brawl which almost cost the life of the ship’s doctor, Fickett and the immediate request of the medical team to high critical situations aboard the ship. ~ It’s times like this that I wish I was an engineer. ~ Kinkaid thought for a moment while Sash was still deciding wither or not to go with his idea. "Thanks Doctor," he said with a smile,"but a quick oral overview whould have been sufficient for this meeting." "Would it be possible." Kincaid added, "to implement a new procedure for the medical team to react to emergencies in a faster more efficient manner by using small transporter unit, which are about the size of a comm badge that is place on the individual's right shoulder of the uniform." "That would be great," Sash replied, "if such a device existed. Unfortunately, transporter technology is not at a stage yet that such a device is possible. However, as long as you are on board, you can always access the ships site to site transporter for such emergencies. It is as immediate a transport as anything else. However, if you want to work with engineering to develop some form of transport enhnacement for off ship that would be a great idea." He had visions of his medical team doing great things to farther the way patients are treated and transported in high impact situation in the survival of life. Do you agree with the evaluation of everybodies time?" Falthgood shrugged and Rich folded his hands together. "Yessir." He looked over at Falthgood, who was lounging in the chair comfortably. This was not exactly a good situation. "Sir, we were ripping apart some alien technology that Lieutenant Falthgood brought with him from the Cochrane, it has given him problems before and I was assisting, mostly for curiosities sake. We finished up as soon as we could, and by the time we were en-route, any message we could have given would have preceded us by only a minute." "Very well then," The CO continued. "Then I believe this matter is closed. Lt. Lee, I would like a copy of your marines training schedule by tomorrow morning. I would like to see some specialized training for emergency situations. You are dismissed." "Sir." Lee said, as he came to his feet and too attention. Zach stayed behind, Rich wondered what would be said briefly before turning on his heel and exiting the room. He looked over at Falthgood then back at Sash waiting. Sash smiled congenially at the Gerratlian. "Yes. Lt., let's just say that it makes me very uncomfortable. You may wear them any other time than at a staff meeting. Is that understood?" (reply Zzt) (posted by Al Muir) Stardate:2406.05.18 (USS Nimitz - Conference room - CO- Captain Devan Sash - 1655) Once Zzt had left all Sash had left to deal with was Falthgood. He hoped that he had seen that he was the cause of the trouble for the others. "Have a seat Mr. Falthgood," he said congenially. Then he walked over to the replicator for a moment and spoke into it. "Would you care for something to drink? Commander?" He turned to Winters. Vanyssa smiled and spoke simply, "No thank you." "Something wet, preferably." was Falthgood's general response. Vanyssa wasn't surprised by the way Falthgood answered. He tended to be a smart-ass, and his reputation for being one was very well earned. He had a certain arrogance about him, one that wasn't unusual for a guy as intelligent as he was. The captain returned carrying a drink and a PADD. He sat down in the chair beside Falthgood and placed the drink on the table, and the PADD upside down. "Mr. Falthgood," he said most deliberately, "I get the impression that you don't like me much. And I'm okay with that. You don't have to like me. Many people don't. I won't lose sleep over it. However, what I won't have is the level of disrespect which you showed me today. If I give you a directive, I will expect you to follow it, whether you agree with me or not. Now, as far as I can tell from what little of your file that I had authorization to read, you have no medical reason for wearing sunglasses during a staff meeting. It is simply an idiosyncrasy of yours. As much as I can appreciate idiosyncracies, especially of highly intelligent scientists, if I ask for you to remove them, I would expect you to remove them and leave them off while in that entire meeting. I understand they give you a level of comfort, but to be honest, it makes me most uncomfortable not being able to see your eyes when I'm speaking to you. And as I am the captain of this ship, my comfort level comes first." Zach simply smiled as he looked at the Captain. He liked that little bit about what part of his file the CO had been 'authorized' to read. The rest would probably make his hair stand on end. "Now let's talk about appropriate manners to address your commanding officer. Would I be accurate to assume that if I walked into your lab, and spoke with you in front of all of the staff there, calling Professor Poindexter, that it might rankle your feathers?" Zach actually chuckled, "Truth be told, I think the staff would love it. Besides, at least I would know you have a sense of humor." "I would never," Sash continued, keeping his voice very even, "ever, do that to you. I have far to great a respect for the work that you do and the man that you are. I have no understanding why you do not have the same respect for me. Perhaps I just haven't earned it yet? Be that as it may, simply treating a fellow officer with a little bit of respect is not too much to ask. Don't you agree?" ~A pity,~ Zach quirked an eyebrow and shook his head, "I couldn't care less about respect, one way or the other. I do my job, I do it well, and I will do it regardless of who happens to command the ship. I follow orders, especially if they are important. I had no issue with Captain Rivers, we didn't clash in the slightest." ~though, she didn't mess with me on the shades either.~ Sash turned the PADD over and slid it over so the CSO could read it. It read in bold print- I ________ hearby resign my commission as a Starfleet officer. "If you do not like being under my command, then I have just given you the way out," Sash said, pointing to the PADD. "All you need to do is put your name on the blank line and it will all be over. you won't have to listen to my rules and regulations, and I won't have to worry about our every meeting becoming a confrontation. If you do not put your name on it then I will take that to mean you are willing to work under my guidelines, and my rules. So what do you say Lt. The choices are all yours." Zach looked over at Commander Winters, almost as if to say 'is this guy for real'. He couldn't say he blamed him really, he had used some of the same tactics himself once-upon-a-time. Though, come to think of it, the person in question rarely took him up on it, it was a near shot to getting worked over by SFI. He looked back at the CO, his face a mask, no longer showing any of the amusement he did earlier. It was a shame this guy was such an uptight warrior, he had enjoyed his time under Rivers, she at least allowed him an easy time in this personae... Enough people had given him hell since he had gotten out of Reverse Technologies. "I'm going to call you on that, Captain." he said utterly devoid of emotion. "We are in a civil war, I can't exactly go home. If I did, I would be killed with extreme prejudice, after being interrogated by methods you probably haven't even conceived of." He reached up slowly and took the shades down, folded them with infinite care, and placed them in one of the leg-pouches he had specifically tailored into his leg. "And now, I'm going to give you a lesson you might want to remember for a while." He folded his hands together and sat back in the chair, almost like he owned the place and was talking to a direct equal. In many ways, he was, even if he had been broken down to Lieutenant at his own urging. "The man that our esteemed Fleet-Idiot has placed us in direct contention with, Admiral Doenitz, is a man I worked for... hmm, for more years then you've been in Starfleet. I know a lot of his dirty little secrets, I know even more about his skeletons. With one word, I could have moved fleets at one time." he brought up his hand in a stalling action before Captain America could get ideas, "And I don't say this to toot my own horn, I'm telling you this because I worked or designed half the strange technologies he is going to be using against you." Zach smiled grimly, "And have no fear, he will. He started once on Nimitz already, if you read your recent history and know all about our quaint little mission to the middle of no-where to ferry some of the best scientific minds ever assembled by This Man's Starfleet." He leaned forward again, "Aragorn recognized me then, I'm surprised I'm not dead. But as I'm not, I Can tell you this much. I know our enemy, I know more then you could possibly guess from the fiction of a biography and service record you've read about me. I could give a good d*mn about who commands this ship, I've spent the better years of my life living in more paranoia then you have ever considered in your worst wet-dreams. I will do my job, and I will do it very well. I will probably, in fact, fight harder then you will... I know who it is we are fighting and just why we are fighting, far better then you and probably better then LoDona. I will not be questioning your authority, not in any serious sense, and you will find me to be most serious when things go sour." Zach tapped his fingers together, "I can keep us alive in a lot of things Captain, and I have every intention of doing so in the months or years to come. My skills, my intelligence, my experience I have fully dedicated to this ship and whoever happens to be commanding her. I've given my life to the Fleet, and it might very well be my death-sentence if LoDona looses this war. So don't threaten me with reprisals and resignation requests, not for something as stupid as a nickname given in good humor. You don't need my respect to operate this ship, you can kick me off if you so feel like it. I will continue to do my very utmost for this ship and for LoDona's little crusade, whether or not you like me. If I so anger you, transfer me. If you can't live with a couple little idiosyncrasies, the Mad Scientist look I invented to keep the average-Joe from wondering why my record looks so lackluster and digging a little deeper, then get me off this ship as fast as you can. In the mean time, Captain Sash, I will continue to do what I'm best at." To illustrate that, he slipped the shades out of his pocket again and slid them back on. The Captain didn't need to see his eyes now, he had gotten the full slate-effect of them during his little heart-to-heart. The rest was up to him. Zach did smile now, a spite-full grin that told to much about the life he had lead. Vanyssa listened closely to Falthgood talk, and on more than one level. She knew some of this, and she knew that he was telling the absolute truth, now, as he had before. "Captain, he's telling the truth. All of what he says is true. I wish it weren't. " She said, rubbing the goosebumps on her arms that had suddenly come up. "He meant no disrespect towards you earlier, only trying to lighten the situation." Vanyssa turned towards Falthgood. "You, however, were once a Captain and should know better. We have a lot of very young crew on this ship, and you should be setting a good example. I don't care if we are in the middle of a war or not, this is still a Starfleet vessel and we still need to maintain some form of discipline." Vanyssa felt an affinity for Falthgood that she hadn't felt before the mirror-universe escape. The fact that her alter had kept Falthgood as a sex slave.... Vanyssa dragged her thoughts back to the present. "Be the mad-scientist, but obey the Captain, without question, without comment. If you don't do it when it doesn't matter, when it does others won't too." She said. "You may not want to be in a position of command, but you are. Others look up to you." Vanyssa realized that she was repeating herself, and lecturing on the same things over and over, just to different people. Zach quirked an eyebrow and turned to face the previously silent First Officer. "From out the mouth of babes," he muttered with a grin. HE inclined his head gently, then turned his attention back to the Captain. Sash smiled as he picked up the Science Officer's comment. He realized that his lack of respect new no boundaries. He had to decide what he really wanted from this conflict. "Mr. Falthgood," he said leaning forward, "I believe what we have here could be a simple misunderstanding, that could easily re rectified. You felt that the comment you made was in jest, yet I obviously did not take it that way. If that makes me a humorless person in your mind then the misunderstanding is yours. If I thought of you being disrespectful, then perhaps that misunderstanding is mine." He paused for a moment before going on. "I understand that you would a very valuable member of our crew in the event of up coming war. I do not deny that. However, wars are not won or lost on the efforts of one individual. You must be part of a team. And I'm gratified to hear that you, too, wish to be on our team. I also understand that you have information that would be extremely helpful in the ensuing war. But also understand that I do not make idle threats. Even if you do not think put respect high in your priorities, you may be alone in that. I do not have the luxury to debate such issues, since I need to know that my orders will be carried out when necessary. I need to knowit, because more lives than yours depend on it, and on me. You may think that the sunglasses are a small matter, but what lies behind it is not. You can wear your sunglasses at any other time that you like, except during a staff meeting, where I depend on every piece of information, including the looks in your eyes. Can you accept this?" Rich quirked an eyebrow, "I don't exactly have a choice, so as you will it." he replied simply. Sash looked at him thoughtfully. "As a mattere fact, you don't. But look on the bright side, at least I didn't just maroon you on some planet like I've done in the past. You are dismissed Lt." Sash turned to the side to look at Winteres. "Commander, I'd like you to stay behind. I have something to discuss with you." Falthgood nodded sharply, once. With ease he stood to his full seven and a half foot frame, and made his way out the door. Jason sat down and began talking about his academy years, whereunder telling about his achievements in science tactical and maintenence, his sports, and also about his final test with LT Laoise. He got so caught up in the story, so that he really was showing what he was doing and commanding. and then the dissapointment of his sister not being allowed to join, and then he began to tell how tight their relation was. you didn't have to look at him, just by hearing how Jason was telling the story, you could tell he allready missed his sister.   "Sorry." Jason said " I got carried away... normally I'm not that kind of a talktive person."   But then, Jason continued with a direct question she may allready suspected.   "But tell me, is this the real reason you wanted to talk to me? or is there something else?"   (reply Vanyssa) (posted by Anthony struelens) Stardate:2406.05.18 Mission:  A Trip to Paradise Mission, Day 4 Stardate:  2406.05.18 (USS Nimitz - FO's office - Commander Vanyssa Winters - 1717)  Vanyssa listened to Dema talk about his time at the Academy. She was a bit started to hear him mention that he had trained under Lt. O'Ceallaigh. "Laoise is a good friend of mine." Vanyssa said with a smile, interjecting her comment into his litany. It was good to get to know the new Officers, and Vanyssa was at her heart, a Counsellor. It certainly made the FO job much easier. "Sorry." Jason said " I got carried away... normally I'm not that kind of a talktive person." Vanyssa held her hands apart, and smiled. "It's all right. I wanted to know more about you. You may not know that until very recently my job was the Counsellor, and I like to listen to people talk." "But tell me, is this the real reason you wanted to talk to me? or is there something else?" Vanyssa nodded. "I apologize, you are not stupid. I was trying to put you at ease. As you may have noticed at the first staff meeting, there was a bit of chaos." She leaned forward slightly. "However, you saw fit to turn up very early looking like someone had dragged you from the gym. Why did you do that?" She asked, curious. "There was time to go by your Quarters and change. It was not an emergency. And you knew about the meeting well in advance." She finished. "I suppose that what I'm asking is if you thought that was appropriate behavior. I can assure you that Lt. O'Ceallaigh did not put up with such behavior, and I do believe that she would be a bit ashamed that one of her cadets would act in such a manner." Vanyssa finished, looking Dema in the eye. And she paused for a moment, as she got up and walked over to the window. "I can tell that you truly are apologetic for your recent misbehavior." She looked out at the stars. "I would like you to go find Ensign Kateb and have her instruct you in the proper ways to address superior officers, and the proper attire for various situations. The Ensign will be taking over the security duties after we get to Geneva, and she will be your new boss." Vanyssa turned around. "This is not a reward," She cautioned. He decided it was none of his business and turned his attention back to his 'work'. "Could we talk for a moment? In the conference room." Tannasg recognized the voice, it was Onyx'. He looked up, "Of course." He winked another ensign to take over, and they walked towards the conference room. "What is this about?" he asked her. In Starfleet that is. “Not regarding to the OPS department. But why did you transfer to Tactical/Security?” "Lt. Nakamura gave up is commission, and Lt. Stolev is on an assignment.
